Miners are putting considerable effort into research for new ore processing systems. One needed a simple feeding system to withdraw ore from a 10m3 hopper.

Material needed to be fed in a controlled manner with an ability to adjust.

A lining system was required to protect the trough from the abrasive nature of the product.


The sub resonant drive system allows a fine feed rate control through the use of a VSD controller. This drive system worked well in this application as it allows to scale the feeder design for when full production size equipment is required.

Standard 10mm Bisalloy 500 liners were used on the trough surface.
