Application
A resource recovery company needed a pair of versatile vibratory screens that could be used to process a variety of materials. Both a single and double deck screen were required.
Solution
Single Deck Pilot Screen
The single deck vibratory screen is of a heavy duty design with a 5mm thick trough. This unit separates steel briquettes from 20mm.
Features of this pilot screen include:
- Removable top cover with a dust extraction port and inlet chute;
- Inlet impact plate;
- Rosta supports used as isolators;
- Forward discharge chutes for oversize and undersize;
- Removable woven wire screen cloth with tensioning system.
Double Deck Pilot Screen
The double deck screen is processing coal which allowed for a far less heavy design. The screening medium is also woven wire however this time with a second screen cloth.
Beneath the bottom screen cloth is a ball deck which helps to prevent material blinding in the woven wire. Features include:
- Removable top cover with a dust extraction port and inlet chute;
- Inlet impact plate;
- Rosta supports used as isolators;
- Three forward discharge chutes for product, oversize and undersize;
- Removable woven wire screen cloth with tensioning system;
- Ball deck;
- Rear access door for replacement of bottom decks.
