A recycling facility needed a vibratory conveyor to help thin out commingled containers that were being discharged out of a screen. The vibratory conveyor needed to handle approximately 2900 containers/hr and discharge to a sort room. Conveying distance required was approximately 4m.
Vibroflow offered a direct drive system vibratory conveyor because of its simplicity and rigidity. Oscillating mounts were used for isolating vibrations, rather than steel coil springs, as they are significantly more effective at smoothing out the violent start/stops associated with direct drive systems.
A support frame was supplied together with the unit to ease installation and transportation.
Features of this vibrating conveyor included:
- Oscillating mounts for isolating vibration.
- Two out of balance vibratory motors.
- Mild steel support frame.
