Application

Zinc ore that was stored in a silo needed to be withdrawn at a rate of 800tph and fed further for processing. Feed rate control was not important but a robust construction that could take heavy loads was critical. Client had requested a direct drive system.

Solution

Vibroflow supplied a direct drive vibratory feeder made from 8mm – 12mm mild steel plate to take the heavy loads and be strong enough to convey material.

In order to excite such a heavy trough, heavy motors were required to be installed which introduced a need to beef up the motor base system. All this lead to an extremely robust vibratory feeder that could survive the high demands of the client.

10mm thick bisalloy 360 liners were installed to protect the trough from wear and tear.
