Application
Small casting particles were causing problems in downstream equipment in a WA based foundry. The only place to put a screening system was right underneath a bucket elevator. Space was very limited and throughput was high for the given physical limitations.
Solution
A circular vibratory screen was offered to remove the oversize particles. Similar in operation to a spiral elevator, this unit had a perforated deck and flights which would separate particles as they were lifted along.
Due to the abrasiveness of foundry sand, the trough body was replaceable and made from Bisalloy 80.
