Hopper Feeder and Finger Screen

Application

A metal waste company was after a hopper feeder and finger screen to size nonferrous metals. The metals would feed from a conveyor belt onto a hopper feeder which would then transfer to a finger screen.

Solution

Vibroflow designed and manufactured a integrated hopper feeder and finger screen that operated at a rate of 16TPH.
We built the hopper feeder with high flared sides to catch and product that would jump around, the hopper feeder then gradually transferred product onto the finger screen.
The finger screen featured two tapered finger screen panels, the first which was 30mm aperture and the second was 70mm aperture. The finger screen also had 4 side discharge chutes, two which were built in the 30mm screen section for the removal of product smaller than 30mm and 2 that were built in the 70mm screen section that would remove product smaller than 70mm.
