Application
A client was losing lots of iron ore product as dust which would then be expensive to clean.
The little space allowed for the project created issues with the installation of traditional dust recovery systems.
Solution
A series of low profile vibratory screens were installed in a series that covered a large surface area. All dust settles on the troughs and is fed into a common receiver that is fed back into the processing system.
Due to the irregular supply of material, a slippery polyurethane wear resistant liner was used on the trough surface. This liner helps eliminate material build up and ensures a smooth discharge.
Motors were specially located on the back of the unit to allow such a low horizontal profile as can be seen in the photos.
