Application
A feeding system was required in a recycling plant that would receive bulk scrap metal and spread along a 2 meter width.
Solution
Four direct drive vibratory feeders were supplied for this application. The units are rugged and simple with welded impact plates.
Feed rate control was not an issue so a direct drive unit was sufficient for this application.
Vibration isolation was important to the client so oscillating mounts were used instead of steel coil springs. These isolators are much better at minimising the violent start / stops associated with direct drive equipment. This also helped with transport as the units could be simply moved by forklift.
